h I recently got multi colored filament, where one side is one color and the other is a different one, I'm trying to feed it so its kinda split down the middle facing the front but every time i try it the filament turns so one color is on front and back instead of side to side, any tips?

To achieve a split color effect with your multi-colored filament, there are a few factors to consider:

  1. Filament Rotation: The filament turning may be caused by the way it's loaded into your 3D printer. Make sure the filament is properly aligned and not twisted. Double-check that it enters the extruder in a straight path to avoid any rotation as it feeds into the printer.

  2. Extruder Settings: Adjusting your extruder settings can also help align the colors properly. In your slicer software, check if there are any settings related to filament rotation or orientation. Some slicers have options to rotate or mirror the filament path, which can affect the color distribution.

  3. Filament Loading: If the feeder mechanism in your printer allows, try loading the filament so that it enters the extruder from the side, rather than the top or bottom. This can help maintain the desired color orientation without rotation.

Remember, it may take some experimentation and trial prints to achieve...
