love thatits kind of intresting
Ya like Michigan?
pretty cool where did you find that model
yea my family is big abt u of m football lol
its in the description of this YT vid
Here's one nifty trick big filament doesn't wan't you to know! Unless they sell a sweet transparent filament, that is...
In this video I dove deeper into the technique of using permanent markers to add color to filament before printing, testing various markers, filaments, and machines to see what works and what doesn't.
Sharpie Blender STL File...
Techincally its not the same but i used a custom version with a mount for the ender 3 pro
If you want that version lmk
Ya well I’m a UC, and Purdue fan, so I don’t love Michigan
oh yeah i remember watching that a while ago
thx
lol
what is UC?
Ah gotcha
Idk
I did try a lightblue marker with clear filament earlier today and while it did work it was a greenish-blueish-teal color instead of light blue
So it works better on white? I'm very intrigued by this!
I wonder how it looks on q semi transparent white
Or on a grey
Whats the best color scheme
And would it be better to have two pen mounts
So that the marker has more than one layer
Doesn't the mount have multiple mounts? I guess you could put different or the same colours.
I have white filament I don't know what to do with. Now I really want to try this.
Same
If someone uses one color for all slotes
Please send how the color of the print looks
Does it look more like the marker color
i would try it but sadly my printer is enclosed :C
Could you modify the model to fit the enclosure?
I wonder about the long-term effects of the ink on the extruder and stuff. Plus whatever VOCs might be produced...
That's what I would think - it would crap up the gears and stuff in time.
