I think I've run into a wall with this. The machine prints just fine, and at some points it will suddenly rip itself to shreds, separate, and just look plain ugly in parts of the print.

I am frustrated and just unsure why this is happening now. Any clues or obvious things I'm missing?

Edit: More information.

Creality CR-10 Smart Pro, no mods, just out of the box machine. Filament is PRIMA Creator EasyPrint PLA. I'm using Creality Slicer.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with your 3D printer. There could be a few reasons for the issues you're experiencing. Here are a few common ones to consider:

  1. Check your print settings: Ensure that your settings, such as the print speed, layer height, and temperature, are properly calibrated for the specific filaments you're using. Sometimes adjusting these settings can improve print quality.

  2. Level the print bed: An unlevel print bed can cause issues with adhesion and lead to prints detaching or warping. Make sure the print bed is properly leveled before starting a new print.

  3. Check for mechanical problems: Examine your printer for any loose belts, pulleys, or misaligned components that may be causing the printing issues. Tighten or realign them as needed.

  4. Inspect the filament: If the filament is tangled, dirty, or damaged, it can cause irregular extrusion or clogging. Ensure that the filament is clean and free from any defects.

  5. Consider software and slicer ...

I have not been able to fix this issue, pardon my slow activity here, didn't realize it was so quick to close this thread.

I've cleaned and leveled the print bed again, and the filament seems to be okay (no dry cracking or snapping, humidity is well below 40% in this room and hovering around 21-22c in temp), no draft as far as I can feel since we have new windows in this office.

I've tried several combinations today with nozzle temps and bed temps, it doesn't seem to matter what I do it just prints inconsistently.

I assume it's a matter of my settings, but after two days of attempting several temp settings and trying different print speeds I'm sort of stuck.
