#Marlin crashes when trying to start a print from SD card

Whenever I try to start a new print from an SD card, the LCD glitches and becomes unresponsive on my KP3S Pro with Marlin 2.1.2.1.
After this happens, I have to manually switch the printer off and on again to get back to the main menu.

When I just tried to start a print over and over again, constantly manually rebooting the printer, it got past that glitch screen once, but I've been unable to replicate that successful attempt.

It sounds like you are experiencing a software-related issue with your 3D printer. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check the compatibility: Ensure that the firmware version you are using is compatible with your printer model. Double-check if any specific firmware updates or patches are available for your printer.

  2. Reformat the SD card: Format the SD card using the FAT32 file system to eliminate any potential file corruption issues. Make sure you have a backup of any important files on the card before formatting.

  3. Try a different SD card: If the issue persists, try using a different SD card to rule out any malfunction in your current card.

I should mention I have formatted the SD card and tried more than one gcode file.

This is a bit outside my wheelhouse, but my first thoughts are
Have you tried different sd cards?
Did you make a change recently around the time this started happening?
Have you personally messed with your marlin at all or is it stock? Im not familiar with this type of printer.

Did you format the sd card to Fat32?

I did format the SD card to FAT32.
I have compiled and installed the latest Marlin on the printer myself with some changes to make it work with the KP3S Pro and BLTouch (I attached the config file to this post).

I am currently working on testing it with another SD card (will backup the current files before doing that), forgot to do that before

Update:
Tried a new SD card, same issue, unfortunately.

Issue still persists.
Using pronterface, I noticed the console got flooded with these error messages saying Error:SD read error when trying to start a print from SD card using the touch screen.
