#Nozzle dragging as print layers increase

Been having issues lately with my printer.

ender 3 pro, sprite extruder, btt 3.0 board.

Anyone have any ideas? Feel like my slicer settings aren't correct somewhere. I may have accidentally changed something. Just throwing that out there.

Cura is slicer 5.3.1

As you can maybe see on green printed part, initial layer height was too high (been trying to combat issue) and as layers get higher, nozzle to print clearance gets worse.

I have calibrated estep and flow rate to no avail. (Was correct regardless from previous calibration)

Did a nut and bolt check on the entire machine. All gantries are good and level as well with no play.

Top layer looks absolutely awful. Through this print I had to continually babystep up to get it to look like this. Something isn't right here.

tysm!

Based on the information you've provided, it seems like you are experiencing issues with your 3D printer's print quality. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problems:

  1. Double-check your slicer settings: Make sure that your layer height, initial layer height, and print speed are all set correctly. If you accidentally changed something, it could be affecting the print quality.

  2. Check the nozzle height: Ensure that the nozzle is properly leveled and at the correct height relative to the build plate. The first layer height should be slightly squished onto the build plate for proper adhesion.

  3. Check filament settings: Ensure that your filament diameter is set correctly in your slicer. Using an inaccurate filament diameter can affect extrusion and subsequently the print quality.

  4. Check extruder tension: Make sure that the extruder tension is properly set. Too tight or too loose can affect filament extrusion and cause inconsistent printing.

  5. Inspe...

a 3 sided calibration cube has been printed and measures .4 on all sides with no issues in quality.
