Heyo! I just got a CRTouch kit for my ender 3 V2 yesterday. I have upgraded to mriscoc firmware, and added the following to my start GCODE in Cura:

G29 L1; Load mesh in slot 1
G29 J2; Measure bed tilt & apply to mesh
G29 A; Ensure UBL is on

However, I believe that the mesh is not being applied to my prints. The Z axis does not move at all through layers, and a simple 1-layer test print also shows this. I am not sure if this is the correct start GCODE, I found it online. Am I just making a dumb mistake?

It's great that you're trying to utilize the BLTouch kit with your Ender 3 V2. Let's try to troubleshoot the issue. First, ensure that the firmware you loaded supports the mesh bed leveling feature. One way to verify this is by sending the "M420 V" command through a terminal program such as Pronterface or OctoPrint. If the bed leveling data is displayed, the firmware and BLTouch are configured correctly.

Next, verify if the firmware is set up to use Unified Bed Leveling (UBL). Look through your configuration files or check the firmware's documentation to ensure that UBL is enabled and properly configured. If UBL is not enabled, you won't see the mesh being applied during prints.

If both of these check out, try removing the "G29 A" command from your start GCODE. This command is unnecessary if UBL is already enabled, and its presence may cause unusual behavior during printing.

Additionally, make sure that the BLTouch is properly calibrated and that the nozzle is at the correct dist...
