Hot-end begins to heat up on start up and does not stop.
Restarted machine, nothing worked.

SCreen shows the Hot end temp, so not a Termmommeter issue.

New MB(4.2.7), New Sprite Extruder, New CR Touch.
I flashed firmware "Ender-3Pro_HW4.2.7_SW2.0.9.03_SpritExt_H300".

Everything seems to work just fine other then Hot-end constantly heats up. Screen shows the temp so not a thermometer issue (i do not think)

AI Help

It seems like you have already tried some troubleshooting steps. Let's try a few more to identify the issue:

  1. Check the wiring: Ensure that all the connections between the hot end and the mainboard are secure and properly connected. Make sure there are no loose wires or short circuits.

  2. Test the temperature thermistor: Disconnect the thermistor from the mainboard and measure its resistance with a multimeter at room temperature. Compare the measured resistance with the expected values provided by the thermistor manufacturer.

  3. Check the hot end heating element: Disconnect the heating element from the mainboard and measure its resistance with a multimeter. Ensure that it matches the expected resistance provided by the manufacturer.

  4. Verify the firmware: Double-check the firmware settings to ensure that they are correctly configured for your specific printer model and hardware. Make sure that the temperature settings are within the normal operating range.
