It's possible that the electrical issue could be causing problems with your printers, especially if two of them failed in a similar manner. However, there could be other factors at play as well.

For the Ender 5 Plus, changing the hot end, Bowden tube, and extruder gear with clamp is a good troubleshooting step. Make sure all connections are secure and double-check the wiring to rule out any electrical issues. It's also worth examining the power supply and ensuring it's providing stable power to the printer.

Regarding the Ender 3 S1 Pro, cleaning the PEI sheet with rubbing alcohol shouldn't cause it to lose grip. However, it's important to avoid using too much alcohol as it can degrade the surface over time. You can try lightly sanding the PEI sheet with fine-grit sandpaper to restore its grip. If that doesn't work, consider replacing the PEI sheet.

If you continue to experience issues, it might be helpful to provide more specific details about the problems you're facing, such as...

Soap binds with oil, alcohol doesnt

IPA will break down oil, yes, but IME, dish soap is more effective

Btw ender 5 glass bed, ender 3 stock magnet pei sheet

Okay thank you, ill try that

PLA doesn't stick to textured PEI as much as smooth PEI/glass

#

It should still work, just needs a bit more squish

Ender 3 seems to made 2 layers before failing, ender 5 bit more but it was 42 different parts with supports so i guess fail rate is bigger

quiet marten
#

you could be overextruding and your nozzle is hitting the parts

Who could have tought that running 3 printers with 2weeks knowledge would be su nightmare

quiet marten

that'll be less likely to happen
