Could I maybe buy an ender 3 and cut it?

I just bought one online! I bought a cheap springsteel PEI plate from AliExpress.
I actually was NOT able to find one sized appropriately for the ender 2 pro (at least not without custom ordering it), so I just bought a 180*180mm one. It's slightly too big, but as long as it sits slightly off center, it doesn't cause any problems 🙂
I did also see the original soft buildplate listed on AliExpress, but it was basically the same price as the springsteel, so I decided to upgrade 🙂
I was thinking that might be possible too, but I decided against cutting it, because the area around the cut might warp and ruin your prints.
This is what the AD looked like.
