Noticed black blobs on my print, a quick look on top showed I have a filament leak.

What are my possible causes and fixes? Thank you.

There could be a few possible causes and fixes for filament leaks during 3D printing:

  1. Partially clogged nozzle: A partially clogged nozzle can cause filament to leak out of unintended places. To fix this, you can try cleaning the nozzle by heating it up and using a small needle or specialized nozzle cleaning tools to remove any debris or residue.

  2. Loose nozzle: If the nozzle is not tight enough, it can cause filament to leak. Make sure the nozzle is securely tightened, but be careful not to overtighten it, as it could damage the threads.

  3. Over-extrusion: If your printer is extruding too much filament, it can lead to leaks. Check your slicer settings and make sure the filament diameter is set correctly, and consider adjusting the flow rate or extrusion multiplier in your printer settings.

  4. Filament quality: Poor quality or damaged filament can cause leaks. Ensure that your filament is not tangled or unevenly wound on the spool, as it may cause jams or leaks. Consider usi...
