#Tree supports not sticking to bed
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
There are a few things you can adjust to improve the adhesion of tree supports on the print bed:
-
Increase the bed temperature: Higher temperatures can help improve adhesion. Check the recommended temperature range for your filament and increase the bed temperature towards its upper limit.
-
Use a different bed surface: Some filament types work better with specific bed surfaces, such as PEI or Glass. Try experimenting with different surfaces to see what works best.
-
Use a brim: Adding a brim to your tree support structure can help improve adhesion. This is extra material around the base of your print that can be removed after printing.
-
Level the build plate: Make sure that the build plate is perfectly level, as even a slight slant can affect the adhesion of your print.
-
Clean the bed: Make sure that the print bed is clean and free of any debris or oily residue. Wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol to ensure maximum cleanliness.
I've cleaned the bed, adjusted z height. Haven't really changed anything recently and have been printing just fine.
