Is your filament dry?

i know it was stored in a drawer (got it from a friend)

#

so probably been in moisture rich air before

@vague yoke

That might impact this

#

It looks like your walls are a little broken up from moisture

#

smaller parts suffer from this because your printer goes slower

#

when it goes slower the filament is exposed to the heat for longer, which gives it more time to boil off water

storing it with the silica packet inside the original bag is the best option for most people

#

I don't know if your fresh spool will be better, but it's your call whether you want to try it

#

it may not be dry out of the bag, but it could be dryer

#

but once it's open you also have to store it away properly
