I have a prusa mk3s+ clone, with the original layer fan. And I am not able to make decent overhangs beyond 30 degrees.
hey look horrible. I have the right firmware for my thermistor.

There are a few things you can try to improve overhangs beyond 30 degrees:

  1. Lower the printing speed: Overhangs require the plastic to cool and solidify quickly to avoid drooping. Lowering the printing speed can help with this.

  2. Increase cooling: Overhangs can benefit from more cooling, so you could try increasing the fan speed or adding a second fan to the printer.

  3. Adjust the layer height: Try lowering your layer height to improve overhangs. However, keep in mind that this will increase the print time.

  4. Enable support: If possible, enable support for overhangs beyond 30 degrees. Supports can help provide a surface for the plastic to print on and prevent drooping.

  5. Use a different print surface: Consider using an alternate print surface such as a raft or brim to improve adhesion and support overhangs.

Hopefully, one or more of these tips will help you achieve better overhangs in your prints!

Try print even to 195ºC below this I have problems

#

Using 15 mms to external perimeters and 30mms to internal

Sure

Is in spanish but you can check the parameters

Does it actually feel like the fan is blowing air? Could potentially be a failing fan? Or just a low RPM fan in general that might need replacing

deft lichen
#

I feel the air blowing, but I don't know if it is enough.

#

I bought the fan about 2 months ago

Were overhangs fine before?

deft lichen
#

They were never right

#

At the beginning there was a temperature problem due to not using the correct firmware. But that has been corrected.

I'd have to say it might just be an insufficient fan or potentially the duct isn't pointing the air just below the nozzle

deft lichen
#

How can I check this?

Photo of the hotend?

#

Like with your fan duct and such in the frame

deft lichen
#

the quality is horrible xD

pulsar musk
#

Oh, yeah your fan duct seems to be the issue

#

That 5015 should be more than enough

#

It's too far back and doesn't appear to be directing airflow right under the nozzle but rather in front of it

deft lichen
#

is the original 5015 to prusa

#

I can't put it back any further because of the screw.

Maybe a person with this printer or the original printer can help me more with the problem.
