#Weird print when printing round objects

My machine prints flat objects well, but round objects have horrible layers.

I have tried adjusting the X-Y belts and modified retraction/temperature settings over and over again....

I have also cleaned the nozzle by inserting a needle.

Increasing the flow rate by 2.5% didn't help at all.

Does anyone know why this happens?

Printer: Voxelab aquila

Based on your description, it seems like there might be an issue with the printer's calibration or leveling. When printing round objects, it is possible that the extruder is either too close or too far away from the bed. This could cause issues with the layers sticking together properly and lead to the "horrible layers" you mentioned.

I would recommend checking the printer's calibration and leveling. Make sure that the bed is leveled properly, and that the nozzle height is adjusted correctly.

Another thing to check would be the filament diameter and the slicer settings. Make sure that the slicer settings match the filament diameter and that the flow rate is set properly. Incorrect slicer settings could result in under-extrusion or over-extrusion, causing issues with the layers.

Lastly, you could also try slowing down the print speed when printing round objects. This could help ensure that each layer has enough time to cool and solidify properly, resulting in smoother, more even l...

that looks like partial clog or the extruder tension being off

The extruder grips the filament well so should I replace or overhaul the nozzle?
