#Groovy mesh / Ender 3 S1, Klipper

I'm at a bit of a loss here. My mesh has two major grooves going in Y direction. I've already changed the wheels on the hotend, there's no dirt, belt tension is good, feels buttery smooth. I've also replaced the PEI flex sheet with a glass plate, thinking that maybe the metal bed is bent. Same result every time.

The only other thing I can think of that might cause this would be the aluminium extrusion the hotend is riding on. The whole thing being bent in such a wavy pattern seems unlikely to me, which leaves wear. But since the grooves seem to be around 0.06 to 0.08 mm deep, that would mean the wear would most likely go through the whole anodisation layer, which would be visible, but they look like new. Unfortunately Creality decided to pick a fancy looking extrusion with no slot in the front, so I can't turn it 90° to test that.

Something of note is that if you count the slightly less deep grooves on the left and right edge, there are a total of three bumps and three grooves, which corresponds to the almost exactly three revolutions the wheels make to cover the mesh in X direction. But as I said, I've already replaced those.

Any other ideas?

It sounds like you've already ruled out some common causes of print issues, such as dirty wheels, loose belts, and a bent bed. One other thing you could check is the Z-axis coupler to make sure it's properly aligned and not causing any wobbling during prints.

Another thing to consider is the slicer settings. Have you tried changing the layer height or adjusting the extrusion width? Sometimes changes in these settings can improve the overall print quality and smooth out any surface imperfections.

If none of these solutions work, it may be worth reaching out to the printer manufacturer or seeking help from a 3D printing community forum for further troubleshooting.
