AI Help

Without additional information, it is difficult to diagnose the exact issue you are experiencing. However, if you are having trouble printing the second round of squares, it could be due to a number of factors such as poor bed adhesion, incorrect leveling, clogged nozzle or a mechanical issue. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check the bed level and adjust it if necessary.
  2. Clean the bed surface to ensure proper adhesion.
  3. Make sure the filament is flowing smoothly through the nozzle.
  4. Check the belt tension and other mechanical components such as the wheels, bearings, and rods to ensure smooth movement of the printer.

If none of these solutions work, please provide a more detailed description of the issue and the printer model you are using for further assistance.

Z offset too low causing print head to scrape top of print

sounds nothing like scraping

Did you change any firmware settings or flash your own firmware?

#

second round of squares prints faster than the first, so speed is part of the equation

No i haven’t change anything. I just finished building it and ran the auto leveling and then to print this leveling test

Okay. When the printer is powered off, check if the axes can move freely without binding up

#

they should be able to move with some resistance, but mostly with equal and even resistance the whole way through

Im not sure if I over tighten the head, with the screws but i dont think that is the problem

Move them all the way left to right and front to back to make sure they're not binding
