#X carriage replacement prusa style
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hi there! There are a few different options you could consider for replacing the x carriage on your Prusa Bear with a more reliable and powerful fan shroud. One popular choice is the Mosquito Magnum, which is designed to work with a wide range of extruders and hotends, including the BMG and E3D V6. Another option to consider is the Dragon Hotend, which has a built-in hotend cooling fan and can operate at higher temperatures than many other hotends. Both of these options have been well-reviewed by the 3D printing community and are worth considering based on your preferences and budget. Let me know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can help you with!

Modified the fan duct to have 2mm of extra clearance. Also adjusted the top screw mount for the duct to enable it to slip over cable ties.

Fixed an artifact in the models. Re-created all models.
There are 8 versions of the carriage. The filenames should be self explanatory so you should choose the one you need.
