Creating a filament maker out of plastic bottles can be a challenging project. The length of your plastic strip will depend on the diameter of the filament you want to produce. Generally, the strip should be around 3 to 4 times the length of the filament you want to produce. For example, if you want to make 1.75 mm filament, your plastic strip should be around 5 to 7 mm in diameter and 5 to 7 times the length of one meter of filament. You may need to experiment with the length and diameter of the strip to achieve the desired results. I highly recommend consulting online tutorials and resources to ensure your safety and proper creation of the filament maker.
the length is as much as your bottle can make. A larger bottle = a longer strip
I explained wrong. I meant to refer to the width
You will need calipers that can measure two decimals, eg 9.12mm.
The thickness of the plastic strip will change the width you need
I have a caliper
~0.3mm strip thickness = ~8mm width
You will have a hollow filament, with air on the inside. Use 130-140% "flow rate" on your printer
What it's wrong if it has air inside?
ah okay
the amount of air inside means you have less plastic per meter. The 140% flow adds that back in, so you have as much plastic per meter of filament as you would without air inside
Can I paste an image here? Is allowed?
Yes
hmm
What's it called? Or how do I get a model of that?
I don't know. Check the documentation of your project
They may have a model for you to print out
I think that he doesn't put that information in the description of the video, I guess I'll have to figure it out on my own haha
You can try finding what you need here:

3D Model Community for 3D model enthusiasts. Use geometric search to find over 1 million free 3D models. Download 3D models & upload models to collaborate.
Or type your own search term
Yes, I was going to do that
Recreator3D may have more info for you. That's another project that makes filament from bottles
You are a genius. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5442876 I found one
When you start making filament, you may end up printing parts to make a cutter made out of bearings. By sharpening the bearings, you can make it cut like scissors do, and it lasts much longer than a knife blade
Yeah, the thing is that I don't understand everything in English, it's more complicated if it is a video that has audio and without subtitles. That's why I look for Spanish videos
You may be able to have auto translated subtitles on youtube
or read articles on facebook groups
I'm going to bed now :)
good luck!

I'm gonna write my doubts., so someone can answer me. Or if tomorrow or another day you can answer it
The bearings are complicated to affiliate, I don't have the tools to do that...
I have a model of the cutter. But assuming I already have the cutter, how do I make the gears? (If someone can give me a model I would appreciate it) and how do I set a specific speed for the motor? Then how do I pass it through the nozzle and what should I take into account to pass it? How do I heat the plastic to make it happen? And how do I automate this process? It's so complicated and I have more questions than answers hahaha.
