Running an Ender 3 V2 without any BLTouch etc. Added new springs and the autohome works fine, but when I print I had to adjust my zoffset to -0.2mm in my slicer, I'm running Marlin firmware on this, is there any way I can do this on the 3d printer end and if so how? Currently the print head is maybe 0.4mm maybe a tad more above my bed when printing which gives me terrible 1st layers

Yes, you can adjust the Z-offset directly on your Ender 3 V2 using the LCD screen. Here are the steps:

  1. Preheat your printer and let it reach the desired temperature for the filament you are using.
  2. Navigate to the "Prepare" menu on the LCD screen.
  3. Choose "Auto Home" to home the printer.
  4. Choose "Disable Steppers" to allow you to move the print head manually.
  5. Use a piece of paper to feel the gap between the nozzle and the bed. Adjust the bed leveling knobs until you feel just a bit of resistance when sliding the paper between the nozzle and the bed.
  6. Move the print head to the center of the bed by using the "Move Axis" menu and selecting "Move X" and "Move Y".
  7. Once the print head is in the center of the bed, select "Move Z" and adjust the Z-axis until the nozzle is just barely touching the paper.
  8. Press and hold the "Control" knob until the LCD screen prompts you to "Store Settings".
  9. Select "Store Settings" to save the new Z-offset.

Now your Ender 3 V2 should...
