#top layer non existent

This issue could be caused by a number of different factors, but the most likely cause is that the printer settings in your slicing software are not set up correctly. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
-
Check your layer height: Make sure that your layer height is set low enough to create a smooth, solid top layer. If your layer height is too high, it may not fill in the gaps between your wall lines.
-
Increase your top layers: Increasing the number of top layers in your print can help fill in any gaps and create a smoother finished surface.
-
Adjust your infill settings: The amount and type of infill you use can also affect the quality of your top layers. Try increasing the infill density or changing the infill pattern to see if that helps.
-
Check your cooling: If your printer is overheating, it can cause the plastic to warp or droop, leaving gaps in your top layer. Make sure your cooling fan is turned on and functioning properly.

Silly question - do you have your slicer gcode view set to show a lower portion of the print? Can't see the right side of the window.
Also post your slicer settings - could be minimum shell thickness
Thank you for popping in, I appreciate it give me one moment
Yep, I am also at work/have kids so I'll reply when I can if you ping me.
Also I don't think it's this setting because several of my prints have this as a finished product
