Hi,

I went to print a toon link statue that ive printed before. This time I was printing it a lot bigger. The shield seems to have shifted. Idk what caused this. Maybe an overhang problem? Maybe there weren't enough supports?

If anyone knows ehat this problem is or how to prevent it, please lmk!

Hello,

Based on your description, it is possible that the issue is related to insufficient support structure or poor cooling of the print. When printing larger models with overhangs, it is essential to have adequate support structures to ensure that the print does not warp or shift mid-print. Furthermore, the cooling settings must be optimized to prevent the filament from becoming brittle and breaking under its weight.

To resolve this issue, I would recommend adding more support structures to the model, especially around the shield area. You may also want to adjust the cooling settings to ensure that the filament cools down quickly after extrusion. Furthermore, checking that your printer's belts and pulleys are properly tensioned may help. Finally, you may also want to consider reducing the print speed to allow the filament enough time to cool effectively.

I hope these tips help you resolve the issue. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to ask.

Ok.. so more supports. How would I do that in CURA? It automatically added the supports for me
