When updating firmware, there are some common issues that people face like power failure, data transmission interruption, corrupt firmware, or a problem with the firmware itself. Here are some potential solutions:
-
Check your connections: Ensure that your printer is connected properly to your computer via USB, and any additional cables are in place as instructed.
-
Try different versions of firmware: If you're having issues with the current firmware version, try using an older or newer version. Remember to check for compatibility with your printer.
-
Change your USB port: Try changing the USB port that the printer is connected to on your computer.
-
Try another computer: Sometimes the issue can be with the computer rather than the printer, so try using another computer for the firmware update.
-
Reset your printer: Try performing a power cycle for the printer by turning it off and on again.
If none of these fixes work, you may need to contact the manufacturer for assista...
I’m doing everything the website says, as well as checking multiple forums but nothings working
Just blue brick
Maybe you could try reformatting the sd card to have a different allocation unit size, 4096 bits/bytes (I can't remember from the top of my head xD) for flashing firmware to my Ender 3 after 32 kb didn't work and made the printer get stuck in the boot screen
