Hello, I am trying to print a cosplay prop and the shape is very very round. It is splitted in parts and I don't know which orientation would be the best to print it. I will attach 2 images of the model. Printing in PETG

Hello! Based on the images you have provided, I would recommend printing the round parts in a horizontal or diagonal orientation with supports. This will ensure better adhesion to the build plate and reduce the risk of warping or deformation during printing. Additionally, using supports will help to prevent drooping and other issues that can arise with round shapes. It's also important to ensure that your printer is properly calibrated and leveled to ensure accurate prints. Good luck with your cosplay prop!

make sure to sand to remove layer lines

and I should use suppors to avoid ruining the round shape?

yeah

or print in 2 pieces and glue together

that could work as well, cut in 2 parts, and print with the non-rounded shape facing the bed, right?

rotund adder

yeah
