Hello! I am reaching out to the community, as I am rather new to 3D printing and don't know what settings to change to fix some of the minor flaws I'm having with my prints. I have two main issues:
-
The top layer of all of my prints are very rough and inconsistent (1st Image). They always seem to have spikes and globs when the rest of the print is perfectly clean and good. Not sure what is causing that.
-
I have small gaps at the joining of these hexagons (2nd Image). Any clean angle like this seems to have this tiny gap. As far as I can tell this is not the fault of the head being placed too high, as my bottom layer is perfect, already dialed that in.
For reference I am using:
Printer - Sovol SV06 Plus
Filament - Generic PLA
Software - PrusaSlicer
Temps - 210c Nozzle and 65c Bed
Print Settings - 0.2mm Quality with some minor tweaks for the SV06 Plus (if you want a specific setting please let me know)
If you have any recommendations or ideas, they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time.
