k
never did that
si
do calibrating rotation distance on extruders part
its most likely around correct already but you just want to make it good
trying to make my bed flat now
so for z offset im putting Z to 0 and change the z offset?
for z offset you do probe_calibrate
and make it touch the nozzle
make the nozzle touch the paper
i mean
okay did that
i hope i did it right
the guide says G34 is Z allign but the command isnt working?
z align?
ohhh
yeah jst ignore that
he has extra macro;s including mechanical gantry alignment
like stock sovol auto z align
and its named g34 probably
normal klipper doesnt have that so you cant call it
you can set it up if you want, but i would just manually level
or assume its correct cuz u didnt touch it
how do i z allign otherwise then?
manually
or add the macro
how often do you z align lol
its like a once in two weeks thing for me if i print alot
put cans below it and let it move down?
yeah but its unlevelled left right in mesh rn
yyeah or print the little tower objects
i reinstalled the gantry
you would have to guide me xD
go here, downoad mechanical gantry calibration.cfg
add that to the folder where printer.cfg is
and add [include MECHANICAL_GANTRY_CALIBRATION.cfg] in printer.cfg
that easy?
yep
oh ok
you might want to keep your hand on the emergency stop button the first time
or lower the defaul current a tad
what could go wrong?
not much
the worst ive had is klipper reports an error, but its somewhat aligned(i always manually check after lol)
oh or the leadscrew might pop out of the coupler. which can then just be reseated with an allen key
maybe im dumb but i dont know how to download it xD
i forgot what my defauly current is
right click, save linked whatever your browser says
my browser is in dutch lel
you can also just open it and copy paste
funny is that dutch somehow has some words that are a bit like german
its a very comparable language
i already told that github is strange
Just do git clone
that also works, but if you dont want the whole repo
Although then you need git installed ect
exactly
You can clone single file
oh right
at the beginning?
ye
so below inclure macros ig
ye
getting an error
you can also copy paste inside macros.cfg if u want
File contains no section headers.
file: '/home/minipc/printer_1_data/config/MECHANICAL_GANTRY_CALIBRATION.cfg', line: 8
'<!DOCTYPE html>\n'
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "RESTART"
command to reload the config and restart the host software.
Printer is halted
huh xD
from git to cfg
so edit the config i have downloaded wrong?
and copy pase that into it?
worked
Bro copies the html
You only copy raw data
1% code 99% comments lol
I love it
kinda bias since I use it for git
But still
whats the range
its probably not the gantry but double checking isnt a bad idea
it might be a mix of x twist and jsut warped bed
some painters masking tape can probably get it flat
probably
.4 isnt a great range tho
its the same as it was before so it should be fine
tightened screws againg now its .445
stop tightening it too much lolk
i cant do more anyways
my tool would break
do i have to change something in prusaslicer ?
for what?
oh you mean starting gcode
probably just have to chagne m420 s1
to be
BED_MESH_PROFILE LOAD=<name>
name is usually just default
could it be that my E-Steps are perfeftly calibrated already?
could be yeah
thats fine
so thats right?
u can do a start print macro later
i have extruded 100mm and 20mm are left from 120mm so i think esteps are fine
what do you mean ?
this is my starting gcode
print start is a macro in klipper
that the slicer then calls
and then klipper does whatever i specify in that macro
its not necesarry though unless you wanna do computational stuff
like what?
anyways, iam ready to print now?? i would like to do a calibration cube, so im slicing it with prusa slicer and how do i start the print then?
oh i think i found it out
i square corner velocitiy in Mainsail jerk?
You upload the file, and start the print
U can also configure ps to send it to the printer automatically
yeah figured that out
thats good enough for me actually
Setting up ps to auto send if u want takes like 2 minutes
What is your stealthchop value set to in driver section of config?
uhm
stealthchop treshold is 0
it sounds sooo strange xD but i like it
is it bad?
Less torque and less dimensional accuracy with stealthchop on
Same haha
the printer is moving so much better now
way smoother
im also reaching 120mms
maybe i can go higher now?
why is my fan off
auto cooling was disabled somehow
flow will be limited
oh right
im trying 150mms anyways
lets see what happens
wanna know how it sounds like xD
should be fine, just expect ringing
yeah
you can get an adxl now and setup shaper properly too
whats adxl?
accelorometer
oh
its so cool that i can run klipper with my old laptop xD
its like 3% CPU usage while printing
klipper isnt that heavy, this is my orange pi 3
cool
its usually fairly lightweight untill u get webcams
i want to
if i can
i think my laptop is a bit faster than a raspberry so it should work
performance wise
do i need a specific cam?
i have got a cheap trust webcam
i could try it
it just has 3 ports
(mouse, keeb) wifi stick and printer
Top layers arent that good but its because of my Prusa settings ig
probably
yeah but not much
yeah it was worse before with 3k accel
Y is probably worse
a bit yes
i will stay with 3k accel
i might try to install klipper on the raspberry if i will get one
so i can remember how it works
i need that?
did the profile save lol
yes

idk i will just restart and bed mesh again
idk but its not working anymore
its not finding the mesh
made a new mesh and called it default (changed that in prusaslicer too) but that didnt help too
yes
no < >
?
oh why did that work before? xD
lets see if its working now
ok seems like it is...
goodie
is it possible that prusaslicer didnt save it?
Did you save and restart after generating the mesh
yes, but its working now again.
i would rly like to setup my webcam but i dont even know how to let the webcam capture the printer... there is no mount and the webcam has nothing like a screw
its just on a standing feet
