Factory Ender 3 s1 pro with cr touch
PlA 200/60 at 23% humidity

Following a retraction tower setup and calibration from teachingtech and am having some questions.
I generated my gcode starting at 1mm retraction distance and increasing to 2mm with 6 blocks (1,1.2,1.4,1.6,1.8,2) and 1 seems to be the best. He reccomended for direct drive to start at 1mm. Should i start the test out at .6 and work my way up to fine tune? Should i have done a temp test prior to this?

Understood. Currently doing a temp tower as i did not do one prior to retraction tower.. after i have a good temp setting i will complete another tower and post it here. Thank you for the quick response

Just gonna pick the one with the faintest stringing i guess? .1 at bottom, increase by .1. I feel .3 was the best but none of it was very bad
