#cr-10 smart not leveling
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
If your CR-10 Smart keeps crashing its nozzle into the bed during auto-leveling, there could be a few potential causes. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
-
Check if your print bed is levelled properly manually. This can be done by using a spirit level, or by printing a small test print and adjusting the bed screws until the print adheres across the entire bed.
-
Check if the Z-axis end stop is correctly set up. Double-check that the end stop switch is in the right position to trigger the Z-axis motor to stop when it reaches the top of the printer.
-
Check if your auto-leveling sensor is working correctly. The sensor can get dirty or may be faulty, and you may need to clean or replace it.
-
Lastly, if you've checked the previous areas and the problem persists, try adjusting the firmware settings or updating the firmware to the latest version.
By troubleshooting each of these steps, you should be able to identify and fix the issue.
