For some reason it keeps over extruding on top layer idk why

There are a few reasons why over-extrusion may occur on the top layer of a print:

  1. The first layer height might be too high causing the nozzle to be too close to the bed. This will lead to a partially clogged extruder as the filament is forced into a small opening. Make sure that the first layer height is correctly set and the bed is leveled properly.

  2. The print speed might be too high, causing the filament to be pushed out excessively. Reduce the print speed in your slicer settings to see if this solves the problem.

  3. It could also be that the extruder temperature is too high, making the filament flow more easily through the nozzle, resulting in over-extrusion. Check and adjust the temperature settings in your slicer and the printer's control panel.

  4. The nozzle might be dirty or clogged, causing too much filament to be extruded during the print. Clean the nozzle or replace it if necessary.

  5. The slicer settings might be set to print too many top layers, causing the pri...

are you sure its not overextruding on all the layers and just easier to see on top? Have you tried reducing flow rate for specifically the top and the bottoms of prints? Most slicers should let you do that

Na everything else looks presentable

#

Just the "top"

#

I'm saying top since it was printed on its side

what speeds are you using for top and the sides respectively

Lemme check slicer

i would assume that top fill speed is the speed you want to change, try speed it up - its waaay slower than the other speeds you're working with, potentially causing oozing

#

if you don't want to speed it up, reduce the flow rate

i personally use 1/2 to 3/4 of perimeter speed

Maybe 40

Or 35-40 area
