So after adding a BLTouch it seems my first layer adhesion issues got worse rather than better.

Ender 3V2.
mriscoc Firmware.
Inland PLA+ 205/60 temps.
Cura.

Did the Tramming Wizard until it was within spec, z offset of -2.04. UBL Mesh. Is it still to far away? Doing the paper test with the z-offset can barely move the paper. Creality Boro glass base.

If your first layer adhesion issues get worse after adding a BLTouch, it is likely there is an issue with your bed leveling or the Z offset. Here are some things you can try:

  1. Check your BLTouch probe: Ensure that your BLTouch probe is firmly attached on the printer, and it’s not too loose or too tight.

  2. Calibrate your z offset: Make sure that you have correctly calculated your z-offset. You can do this by moving your nozzle to your bed and slowly decreasing the Z-axis until you feel some slight resistance on your paper. At this point, raise it slightly to have a perfect gap.

  3. Adjust the bed level: You can try doing the bed leveling process again, making sure that the calibration is tight and the bed is properly aligned.

Another approach is to use a higher temperature. In some cases, a higher temperature may help with bed adhesion. You can also try using a thin coating of glue or hairspray on the bed to make it easier for your filament to stick.

Im not familiar with mriscoc, but there should be an option to change it during a print under a tune menu

yes there is. Problem is with the way cura slices it, it doesn't seem to do a whole square at a time.

with proper bed adhesion that shouldnt be a problem, the z offset is usually -2.5 to -3 or so

I'll dial it down some more and do a few more test prints then and see if that'll help
