#Keyboard was not in the box

I dont know if this is normal for wooting but I orders a keyboard and case and when the undamaged/not tampered with box arrived it only had the case in it. No keyboard. I have made contact with customer support and showed images and described my situation and they want me to file a police report. I feel like this is crazy that they can't just give me a refund or send me the keyboard. And I dont want to buy another $200 keyboard while I wait for some "investigation" to take place. What should I do and is this normal?

i dont think you have to wait for an investigation really? most of the time parcel carriers are the ones requiring police reports so they reimburse us for the lost product.
