Every time I start my PC the keyboard rgb is off and keys do not respond. When I unplug the keyboard and plug it again it works, although not only the keyboard is off, it is the mouse/mic/headset that is also off, I have tested this with a different keyboard and got a different result which is different than the wooting (Everything was good).

I tried to factory reset the keyboard, I tried to disable Fast Boot in the BIOs, I tried to do the Restore and Reset device option.

I have looked online and somebody has fixed this issue by downgrading to a non-beta firmware, But I don't know how.

Try lowering the keybaord polling rate and see if this helps

  • Settings
  • General settings
  • Polling rate - set to 1000hz

If this shows no result try other USB ports further away from the current location (preferable color coded differently)

# glacial grail It worked with 1000hz, but when can i use the 8000hz? does it make a difference ...
  • 1000 hz send/receives information 1,000 times a second and uses (USB full-speed)
  • 8000hz sends/receives information 8,000 times a second and uses (USB Hi-speed)

so while it will affect performances on paper i don't think you will notice that differences with out testing equipment to read that very small differences

you may have better luck trying other USB ports for a USB-Controller that doesn't have issues with "USB Hi-speed" on boot

best to try and see how it goes

(really hard to say what port would be ideal as this is determined by the USB-Controller on the motherboard and may relate to bios aswell)

for references a USB-Controller may have 1 2 or 4 usb port connected to it

Alrighty, I will take a look

The USB port shoudn't matter. These days there are no USB 1.X ports anymore and every USB 3.X or 4.X port does USB 2.0 independently. On the newer ports USB 2.0 is done via separate wires which are present for backward compatibility. Meaning a US 3.X port should handle USB 2.0 devices the same way as a USB 4.X port should do.

About the issue, it would be nice if you can replicate the issue again on 8 kHz and then provide us a screenshot of the device manger, when the view of that is changed to container.

if interested i will include a guide below

  1. Right-click the "Windows Start icon"
  2. Select "Device Manager"
  3. Select "View"
  4. Select "Devices by container"
  5. Find the keyboard and expand the device tree and take a screenshot

if no "Wooting device" is listed please take a picture of device manager and inform us of this and attempt the following

  • Monitor "Device manger"
  • Unplug the keyboard
  • Check if device manger flashes or updates (or if an entries disappears)

please inform us of witch one (can use the image to compare)

But i did the steps you have asked for

#

Welp, I tested 8000hz again and It works fine now, Although with the first Test my main monitor didn't turn on, second test everything was on and fine

(While typing this the keyboard went off for 1 second and it came back on, I guess i can't use 8000hz)

On the fist picture the cable wasn't properly inserted. So this would explain the issue.
On the second it looks fine...
