After updating Wootility Web to version 5.2.1, I wanted to update my Wooting 80HE (currently installed version 2.11.0) to version 2.12.1. I'm using the "Brave" browser (1.85.116) and have also tried "Chrome" (143.0.7499.41). I'm supposed to click the "Allow the browser" button to select "Wooting Restore." Unfortunately, nothing is displayed; I only get the message "No compatible devices were found." How can I install the latest update on my Wooting 80HE?

why are you trying to do a recovery to update firmware
just go to settings and update
what youre in is the firmware recovery
It is NOT the firmware recovery. I will do now a lot of screenshots to show you

I tried the same procedure with the "Wootility App" installed in Windows 11. Same result
Have you tried plugging the keyboard into a different USB port on the back of your PC?
Do you have RGB software running in the background? If so, disable it and replug the keyboard.
Can you open Device Manager > Select "View" > "View by Container" > Expand "Wooting 80HE" and take a screenshot
No Wooting restore here
I tried 2 other USB-Ports and with the second one it worked. The firmware was updated successfully to Version 2.12.1
Still no Wooting Restore in the device manager but i can see it in the Browser now
"Wooting Restore" should only appear in Device Manager if the keyboard is in restore mode.
