That doesn't sound right, if you clear your cart and add it again, does it say the same?

It says the original price starts at £214 then increases to £220 with delivery but as I’m filling out the billing information it said ‘price update to your cart’ or something like that (went from £220 to £178) so I pressed continue then randomly it said price change again but it went to £220. Bare in mind the first 60he v2 I bought the final price was £187 and all I changed this time round was the layout from iso(UK) to normal ANSI(USA)

This is because of how taxes work post Brexit, and the limitations of Shopify. The last page before you hit pay is correct.

In all cases, you pay taxes at the time of purchase.

For orders under 135 GBP pretax value, Wooting collects the taxes and pays them to HMRC monthly or quarterly.

For orders above 135 GBP pretax value, what technically happens is that you prepay the taxes as a part of shipping, because the parcel carrier pays those taxes to HMRC at the time of importing the parcel. The parcel carrier then bills the shipper (the fulfillment center) who then bills Wooting.

Shopify is only capable of calculating taxes once it knows your address, so until you input that, you're shown the pretax price. Once you add your address, that updates.

Ahhh that makes sense. But how come my first 60he v2 was £187 when I bought it. I have the screenshot.

The first one I ordered was on the 3rd of december but then I cancelled it because I wanted to change the layout.

Did you go from ISO to ANSI?

This is very strange. There are a total of five orders, including your cancelled one, shipping to the UK, all in a row chronologically and with different combinations of products, where taxes were (incorrectly) not collected.

I guess I'll add that to my todo list for next week to search for more and get some clarity from Shopify Payments

So is the payment correct this time round? If not what do I do?

Yes, the amount including tax is correct
