So three days ago my 80HE started randomly disconnecting and then instantly reconnecting (RGB and input goes off entirely) also giving that little notification noise when you plug in a new device. It only happens in a certain window after booting up my PC, maybe the first 5-10 minutes? It also happens irregularly, sometimes it does it once, another time it will happen thrice.

I'd think it's because of updating the board, but it only started happening several days after I applied the most recent update. The board has no damage, I've not spilled anything on it either and it had never done this since I've had it this april.

It isn't defective (as in everything works as always, keys, profiles etc.) nor does it affect my gameplay (since it only happens X minutes after PC boot), however I'm still curious. Would not want this to be the start of something breaking or crashing in the board. EDIT: It was the JST cable like Xphome mentioned. It was just ever so slightly wiggled loose. I pulled it out and firmly pressed it back in, now my keyboard works fine again. I do notice that I just can't perfectly fit it though, because the pressure from the cable is too much compared to the strength of the socket it slides in. It always pushes the connector a little sideways in its socket.

It might be the cable to the daughter board (JST) being loose. It can be fixed by opening the keyboard and making sure it's properly connected
