Bubbles in LED 2HE

Hey all,

Took a look at the search function and the troubleshooting page but couldn't find what I'm looking for. Had the 2HE for a couple months now and it's awesome. Unfortunately, I've noticed a few of the LEDs have become much more dim. I took off the keycap and saw that there were small bubbles in the LED, whereas in my not-dim ones they were clearly not there.

What causes those and is there a decent way to fix it?

Complete novice so any reference is helpful. I don't mind a little tinkering 🙂

Note: I know I can swap the switches (it's in the troubleshooting page) so mainly curious on the "why"
