hey im just looking to get a 2nd set and i really want to try blank keycaps again.
i assume just buying the keycaps twice will be enough for the 80HE there shouldnt be an issue?
and iirc with the profile of the keycap it should also be totally fine for row 4 and 5 right? (F1 and number row are both R4 right?)

That wouldn't work very well.
Each keycap has a specific row it's designed for, the shape of the top. Pretty sure there isn't enough Row4 keycaps in an Optimum set to cover an 80HE's additional keycaps (if you bought two sets of course)
I'd recommend looking for a similar, but fullsize set of keycaps elsewhere.

interesting, i honestly thought it would work without any problems on an iso 80he
the color is just so nice, hopefully there is one for the 80he coming one day, wish there was additional support for 80he when it released

That's up to Ali ultimately. It's his brand and products. We just lent a helping hand with getting it from paper to product.
If he wants to make something for the 80HE, I don't see why we wouldn't be willing to help get it to market.
I mean... throw enough kits at it, and eventually you'll get there. Just gotta do some math about how many of those 1U width R4 keycaps are missing, and how many kits you'd have to buy to fill it out I suppose.

The blue area is what's included in a kit. You get 13 of the Row 4 keycaps. But the 80HE needs an additional 19 in total to fill out all of those keys. So you would need a total of three, Optimum keycap sets to have all keycaps.

will ask in keyboard modding aswell before buying three sets, the color on those keycaps just look way too nice
