#ANSI Keyboard with other umlauts like ä, ö and ü when pressing FN.

ansi is a physical layout and has nothing to do with what the operating system makes of the keys you press
Yeah I know but I use the ANSI keyboard with US layout in windows. In wootility I haven't the umlauts for key mapping.
For me its a nice feature
not possible with how remapping currently works
remapping in our case doesnt do some driver level remaps or such. you remap the scancodes. thats all a keyboard knows. keyboards dont know what characters are.
we do plan to maybe allow remapping any character via the background program we plan to release but no ETA
You could go the route of making your own keyboard language layout #1265364095704633355 message
Well you can blame german goverment for it
okay thanks
It would work perfectly fine if it was under alt gr layer on non iso keys for both ansi and iso
i mean us international does solve these problems for any accented character
