You certainly can. In fact that's what everyone has to do.
The collab is only a case and a set of keycaps. There is no prebuilt Optimum 60HE. You either buy it all as a DIY bundle, or you already have a 60HE and transplant it over there.
awesome news! would there happen to be any tutorials on how to do this?
and does that mean i can put the module into any 60% case i find?
im sure i can actually find these answers on my own, thanks for the help!

Start here to get the module out.
Bored of the stock 60HE/60HE+ case? Swap it over into on of our premium Alumaze60 cases or any other third party cases! Thankfuly the process is easy, and doesn't require a ton of tools. :)

And then this for the friction pad, if you want to use that on the Optimum case.
The friction fit pad offers noticeable benefits, particularly in feel and sound. In this video, I'll guide you through installing a friction fit pad in your Wooting 60HE. However, before getting one, there are a few important things you should know.

will just post this here in case anyone finds it, are there any cases that are compatible with the 60HE module and have a volume dial?
No. Because that would be a different PCB than the 60HE 😄
ah i didnt know the dial was part of the board
