dont know if deadzone is the right word but my wooting 80he maxes out at a point just a bit before its fully pressed. is this something i can edit or fix? i have both lekkers and jades on the keyboard (didnt care to put jades on f keys) and the lekkers seem much more accurate.

Check if your firmware is up to date, if is: Press them slightly harder. If it isn’t, update.

If pressing them harder “fixes” it, you can reported it as a bug, either here or in #📰│wootility_updates (if you’re using the beta*)

getting it new doesn’t necessarily mean it’s up to date. With older firmware this was the case for Jades, Raws and pretty much all shorter travel switches. That’s why I’d check real quick.

i did update firmware when i installed the software but

Press them harder as in, the a point where the plate slightly flexes. If it is resolved then, it means the calibration is off. This wouldn’t happen normally so perhaps your Jades are from an older (more inconsistent magnet strength) batch.

it might just be stem wobble im not completely sure, since to get the exact point it does that, i have to press on the very sides which makes it kinda wobble

its kinda bad for analog games since gaterons already have a short travel distance so its even less with the tiny deadzone

Magnets that are slightly stronger (beyond what the calibration at startup can rectify) would explain it.

Also the end of press gets calibrated as you press it, so you should keep pressing the key quickly to full bottom out to make sure it gets calibrated properly
