I guess try to find the faulty switch, pull the keycap off, and check if you see anything
You can carefully press with your finger to see if you feel any feedback from the switch, and if it resets all the way at the top
I know what key it is. What should i look for to see if anything is wrong?
Visual inspection mostly
Compare it to a switch next to it
see if you see anything out of the ordinary
Also, are you using tachyon mode?
Can you go to https://analog-monitor.wootility.io/
connect your device and record the output
Like this?
thanks, and this is in the resting position i assume
yeah not touching anything
are there any magnetic or metal objects close to the keyboard
How close? There is my monitor and then i have a monitor arm
doesn't sound like that would be the issue but check for any nearby screwdrivers, keys, stuff like that
It sometimes goes away, its like a week ago i had the problem. it helped to just replug it, but this time it didnt help
some people have magnetic desk mats which cause issues etc, just eliminating these variables
no scredrivers keys ect. My table is completely empty. its a glass mousepad, and but i do have a adjustable table, not plugged in tho
since it's isolated to one key it sounds like a faulty hall sensor to me, i'd encourage you send a ticket here for either warranty support or more detailed debugging: https://wooting.io/support?issue=46
Pick the category and issue you need help with, and we'll guide you through the process.
i did that 27.11
got this response
ill fill out the one you have sent. would this be phantom presses?
i would bump your existing ticket
i see its different place i made a ticket. so ill also try here
the 2nd video?
both if you want!
Thanks a lot for taking your time to help! Have a nice night
which different place did you make your original ticket via though?
not sure. think i just googled support and got something where i put in my email and make some text about the problem
Can I DM you?
