my apostrophe/backstick key stopped working.
All other Keys fully work like they should in german. ÖÄß etc.
But that particular key just fully stopped giving inputs.
It works when i switch to english =+

For some reason my keyboard also only shows up in english layout in wootility.
Already did the basic troubleshoot of resetting it. Same problem persists.

what if you double press `

#

(also wootility shows the keyboard language your pc was set to when you opened it)

keyboard language not operating system language

#

idk why it would work when you set your keyboard language in the OS to english but doesnt work when you set it to german tbh

#

since both send the same keycode

#

my best guess is theres a program that uses ` as a macro key

#

easiest to check is set keyboard language to english so =+ is working for you and then press the key left of 1 which is labelled with ^ and degree symbol and see if you get ` as in the english language its ` and ~

#

hopefully it also doesnt output `
