As anyone discovers when doing an inch of research beyond big store brands, this is a whole thing. So I’ve spent near 2 weeks researching everything I can stand.
For now, this keyboard and whatever mouse (my next hunt) will be for Xbox, until one day I find myself in a situation to get a full computer setup.
I have come down to getting the NuPhy Air60HE for my first for the versatility and comfort, and of course, speed and software.
I am seriously eager to join the Wooting club and most of my time has been spent trying to beat the Wooting 80HE.
I couldn’t quite pull the trigger on the 80 as that spacebar would drive me bonkers, though the way ppl talk I’m convinced I could figure out how to fix that. What I can’t fix, is the specific layout they chose for their TKL. Giving me Apple flashbacks. For a company that is so pro mod, I feel I need time to watch y’all from the sidelines awhile.
I cannot stress how much I want to join y’all. By far overall my favorite keeb company since the moment I started researching.
Is there a plan for a more inclusive 80%HE? Probably not, please correct me if I’m wrong.
Is there a plan for a 65-75% relatively standard layout?
My biggest hunt, is there a plan for any low profile anything Wooting?
From one that is totally new to the scene, seems like those low profile jade switches are a lot more sturdy and manageable. Think they’ll take off?
Where besides NuPhy does a LP HE PCB exist in any capacity so I can just learn to build a board around those switches?
If anyone has any two-cents toward this before I find a mouse to pair with the NuPhy and most likely purchase today, My Lord knows I eagerly await it
Thank you in advance.
