#WS Dash Switches inconsistent when pressing down; must be pushed DEEP to register full bottom out

In my 60HE, I have WS Dash switches which seem to be fine but for a couple of the switches. Using the V5 of the wootility though, I have found that on non-Lekker switches, once the wootility is able to determine the "bottom out" on the switch (~3.5mm), it will jump to 4.0, which makes complete sense. Strangely, some of the Dash switches seem inconsistent in that they may have a bottom out range of 3.55, triggering a "fluttering" between 3.55 and 4. Obviously, for rapid trigger, this causes some very inconsistent behavior. This seems to happen consistently on a few pcb areas. I seem to be able to recreate the issue consistently on the 'R' key.

Anyone run into something like this?

The same thing seems to be happening with the Jade Pro switches.

is your firmware up to date

It is. It's currently on the latest firmware offered by the v5 wootility. I cannot tell whether it is a switch to switch variance but it does seem that the switches on certain parts of the PCB seem to have this issue the most often. Additionally, this doesn't seem to happening on the Lekker switches. I am getting a batch of lekker v2's today so I can continue to test.

Also worth noting, this is seemingly occurring intermittantly. At this second, I am not experiencing the issue. I am using an aftermarket case as well and it may have been that surrounding switches were not pressed in all the way, lifting this switch out of place ever so slightly. It's hard to tell exactly what is going on.

To that second point, this is a theory and I am not a mechanics expert.

You mentioned that happens most of the time with R key, if you press multiple times on that key is it still the same?

Yes most of the time. Like I mentioned, I think it may have been resolved after adding more pressure to the switches around the key. It may have been that they were not placed back into the keyboard firmly enough. You can close this ticket for the time being. It seems like everything is working as it should for now.

I am not mod.

Keys calibrate automatically, but you can calibrate them manually by pressing multiple times on them.

In future they plan to add switch selector in wootility for precise calibration

Interesting... Good to know!
