not exactly sure if this is what youre looking for but there is an option in the v5 wootility that switches between 1k and 8k polling (8k limits the rgb brightness to about 70%)

You can change the 80HE between 1khz and 8khz polling and scanning (they are separate)

Scanning is "tachyon mode", which may not work with some aftermarket USB cables (that is - one we didn't make), so Wootility sets a soft lock of 70% on the LEDs (and disables all animations). You can unlock the LED limit, if you have one of our cables, or you want to test your aftermarket cable.
