HELLO i have exact same problem
1:1 same problem. Connection timed out. Did you resolve your problem?
I also found out, that my bottom left side of the case of the keyboard is getting hot during keyboard use
also i tried resetting the keyboard as it says in help bar, but still same problem appears

After some troubleshooting, I've managed to get my keyboard's features working - but i've noticed that it's getting quite hot in a specific part of the keyboard, and i'm not the only one.
My order was quite early, and i worry i could've been given a PCB with one of the ICs that had questionable performance.
There are other people like @west thunder who have similar issues of a greater magnitude; Connection failure (but the ability to type without any feature use);
Hot areas on the keyboard that are way more noticeable with the plastic shell;
Typing of special language-specific characters for normal key presses, as if an alt combination is being pressed;
Inability to enter gamepad mode at 8k polling for some people (causes the keyboard to give the "connection failure" issue), inability to enter gamepad mode at 1k polling for others (could be unrelated to this issue)
We need a human response on this.

My running theory is that the "connection failure" issue is related in some way to insufficient power/ power draw across the keyboard, and could be caused by a host of problems.
For me, i had to dedicate a whole frontpanel usb hub, and not use the "stealth" cables that were extras i ordered from the wooting site, it only works with the cable that came with in the 80he's box.
It took over a minute to connect/calibrate once i had done so.
This troubleshooting step did not work for others who tried.
