Seeing that SOCD and Rappy Tappy is banned on Osu, CS2 and the like. Moving to mouse switch base input like Kailh or Omron would be nice concept to prove as a legal rapid input work around.

Do you understand that regardless of switch, SOCD would still be banned. If you want a mouse switch on a HE board, just use travel limiters so you can spam away. It is a literal meme though.

The point would be it would no longer be a software assist.
The point was to have over 50 key presses per minute on a single key.
There would be no socd software just rapid fire clicking that doesnt depend on a crappy spring for actuation calls.

Hmm. SOCD has nothing to do with spamming though, so this wouldn’t be a replacement but more so something that makes spamming easier.
There are probably uses for this but it seems very niche to me.

no i wanted an 8k polling rate keyboard with good software
socd was never meant to be a thing, that's the only reason why it existed as an external script before Razer pulled it out
but what Chris said might be interesting, you'd get a really light keyboard if it was made with mouse hardware
