To start, it's best to determine and check the state of the keyboard, as it may be in Restore mode or driver related.

To find out in Windows you can check Device manager.

How to open Device Manager

  1. Right click on the Start button in the taskbar
  2. Select "Device Manager"
  3. Select "View"
  4. Select "View by container"
  5. Look for the device

Can you check how your device is listed? It may have one of the following names:

  • Wooting (Two He / 60HE / UwU)
  • Wooting Restore
  • Not listed

Also, just to check, is your keyboard stock or has it been modified in any way (case swap, tape mod, etc)?

yeah it shows up. no mods, never been opened even. it will work occasionally for 30-60 minutes and just stop randomly or if its working and i unplug it it will almost always stop working, only starting working again after a restart but even then sometimes it just wont work anyway

To help narrow it down, I'll provide some tests:

  • Start by keeping the Device Manager open. When the UwU becomes unresponsive, take a picture of the device tree in case some of the drivers go missing—most likely the "HID Keyboard Device." This can indicate if there is a driver or system issue.

  • Next, if you have the UwU with RGB, enable the RGB effect "RT-Display." This checks if the switch is still working and detecting the state of the switch, as it will show green when pressed and red on release.

    • If you don't have the RGB version, we can use another tool called "Wooting Analog Monitor" to check if the UwU is still detecting the switch.
  • Lastly, if you have any software that could be actively scanning for keyboard inputs, like macro software or overlay software, this has been known to sometimes cause conflicts and could be the source of the problem you are experiencing. You can see if you can replicate the problem on another computer to determine if it is isolated to the UwU or that system.

    • if not possible you can try the computer in safe mode

Sorry for the word salad.

there is no change in the driver when it goes from working to not, i just restarted my pc to get it working, played osu for maybe 5-10 minutes unplugged it plugged it back in and now nothing, it will eventually just stop even without unplugging it but i dont wanna wait for that, i recorded device manager while i unplugged and replugged it if you wanna see that idk. im decent with computers and im stumped haven't had peripherals behave like this before. the rgb reacts with the key strokes to

i have seen a few cases like this most of the time this was caused by background applications i assume there might be some conflict with OSU if this happens only when you play the game

i am not that familiar with OSU dose this have any antic cheat software that could have Kernel level ?
looking into this now

The last Test would be to start the computer in "Safe Mode" this will disable all none windows applications and can be good way to check if this is caused by some software conflict with other applications
