are you using the stock cable?
and is the keyboard connected directly to the motherboard? (no usb hub, kvm) etc

for some reason every time i hit update it does the windows turn off and on sound and i can see it turn off and on

thats the only thing i can see it being as of now

When the keyboard is forced to restart, it should go into "Wooting Restore" mode to perform a firmware update/restore and not leave that state until the process is complete and given the command to restart to the new firmware.

Is the keyboard restarting and going right back to normal (RGB on / accepts inputs) or are you replugging the keyboard when the upload doesn't complete ?

its going back to normal

like i can fully use it as if its not even updating

the website also doesnt recognize it on my pc when i try updating with the beta

can you preform another update but this time when the keyboard turns make sure to hold down the Top Right and bottom Right keys
[Back space] + [FN]

this key combination on power up will force it to stay in wooting restore (something that should be happening)

there is absolutely 0 information on the bug i had and i've been looking everywhere

The way it's supposed to work, from my understanding:

Start the update:

• Wootility sends > Restart command
• Keyboard restarts
• Wootility pings the keyboard + command to stay in Wooting Restore
• Keyboard, once it receives the ping, sends an acknowledgment that the keyboard is in Wooting Restore
• Update starts

  Well, I assume this is what happens.**
  i think in this case the keyboard is not receiving that ping
