#Lekker Pro Switch Suggestions!

Hi Wooting,

(THIS IS "FANMADE")
I have heard about an upcomming switch you (may) plan on making called the "Lekker Pro" switch.

The main characteristics for this switch would make them quite interesting:

  • Long pole
  • Box Stem
  • Closed Bottom (0-4.0mm if possible without overload)
  • Dual Rail
  • Optional RGB diffusers (inspired by everglide sticky rice)
  • New dutch word for the switch or a variation of "Lekker"?

To really make it worthy of the "pro" name, and not just a lazy refresh that most products get from most brands.

I agree. Anyway, I’d love the “Lekker Pros” to be a silent switch with tight tolerances. Instead of just another closed bottom clacky switch. Perhaps a nylon top and bottom housing? Maybe not Dual-Rail as done by Gateron, it is arguably worse binding wise.

You know, I hate the fact that Woot didn’t stick to the Lekker naming. Lekker V2, should’ve been called Lekkerder and “Lekker Pros” Heerlijk or something.

Lekkerder would mean exactly that, literal translation would be More tasty. 😂

im aware but if i think of "more" or lekkerder in specific i think of a great improvement not "just" tolerances

guess this is more an interpretation thing. but basically also why the 60he+ just has a + behind. it just adds a somewhat big thing for modding with the PCB stab compatibility

Tolerance improvements really can be/are a big thing, especially for Lekkers in particular. The dual rail structure as implemented by Gateron is just marketing. It doesn’t help much if at all. Gonna yoink your argument; the 60HE being called + is because it is “better” w/o cons, exactly what the Lekker V2s are supposed to achieve. A better Lekker switch, a Lekkerder. 😂
