Valorant Keys sticking down

Hey ive been playing valorant and ive only had my wooting for about 1 month. Ive been having the issue recently of my keys sticking down and forcing me to either move right or left even when i let go? Anyone know if any help

Concerning the Problem , I've observed an increase in such reports on our Wooting Discord and tickets over the past week, especially related to the game "Valorant" Possible from the ANTI Cheat software they use

Just to check if the keyboard is the source of the problem

I would recommend using the "RT-Display" effect. This will show when the switch activates (green) and when it is released (red).
You can enable this by following one of the Two methods below

Method one

• importing the already created "RT-Display Test " profile into wootility

1. Copy the Code: 947cf3a491b1b27dd1de6fc77da4ca11c136
2. Click the "Import Profile" Button this can be found on the left side of wootility (marked by the arrow in the image)

Method Two:

• To manually create or enable the effect, you can do the following:

1. Select the "Color."
2. Under Effect layers, add or change the current effect to "RT-Display."
3. Set Base Brightness to 100%.
4. For better visibility, I would recommend setting all the LEDs to "Black/Off."

Hey! i just used the profile and my keyboard has been messing up way more than before (not blaming the profile) a lot of my keys will just stop working randomly when typing or spam and its not showing as being pressed even when i have vanguard disabiled or turned off and im not playing any games. Just wondering if theres anything else i can try. Ive tried updating and reseting the keyboard and still having the same issues.

Ive reset it and still had issues and tried the cords issue and also updating the software and still having the problem.

The profile itself is to test if the keyboard can show the problem,
as this could be like a lot of reports of Valorant and be isolated to just the game itself possible the anticheat software.

Could you check the RGB state of the keyboard and reference if it matches the game's? This can show that the keyboard is the source of the problem.

I’ve been having it happen even with the anti cheat disabled or uninstalled. There are moments when it’s being activated but the RGB won’t show it being pressed down

as the RGB is correctly showing the state of the keyboard the problem most likely lies with the system

in the past there was "Razer synapse" that caused issues with the "W,A,S,D" keys you can disable the software and see if that is the cause (if you have it running)

Ill note there has been alot of reports for valorant with similier issues so best to check if this happens outside of the game

If the problem keeps arising outside of games and other keys besides W,A,S,D should I contact wooting through email?

Before that, just to check, is the RGB of the keyboard reflective of its current pressed/released?

as This could third party software causing the problem

i would recommend testing the keyboard on another computer just to make sure.

Ok I’ll test the keyboard on another computer today and see what happens. The keyboard RGB reflects all the presses but when it holds it down it doesn’t show or when I’m unable to press any buttons it doesn’t know being registered so I think it is a third party problem
